We are proud to present the dynamic artist, Gabino A. Castelan, who will be creating a mural on the facade of Studio 323 New York. The mural will investigate what it means to be “Indigenous,” “Mexicanidad,” or a “New Yorker” and what remains of these concepts in El Barrio. Through this project we hope to create a dialogue on the changing social and cultural interactions in El Barrio today. The mural will be on display through September, 2012 and is open to the public.
